All contestants must call the headquarters each Friday morning, to check on surf conditions.
NO REFUNDS for missed heats.
Entry fee required for all alternates. No double entries.

PRIZES:
Eight (8) Winners will receive one (1) round trip Airfare from Hawai’i Island to Oahu and one (1) Entry Fee to a Pro-Am Event on the North Shore of Oahu.
The number of trips and entries will be awarded proportionally to winners in each division depending on the number of entries in each division. October 2025 through March of 2026 (each entry is worth $150). Valued over $3,000 in prizes.
NOTE: Award airfare and entry fee cash to be used for specified surf events ONLY! If you do not compete on Oahu, entry and airfare will go to the next finisher.

An email confirmation will be sent with your resignation information and a link to print and sign the Big Island Pro Am Surfing Trials Liability and Waiver Form. The form must be brought to the Surfing Trials check-in to be eligible to participate. Or download the form via button below.
READ AND UNDERSTAND:
As a participant in this event, I promise to inspect the contest site and assure myself that the site is safe for surfing, and further agree that I will not surf in the tournament unless I am satisfied that the area and conditions are safe for surfing purposes. I will further read and comply with all the rules and regulations, note existing weather conditions, and so agree that I voluntarily assume all risk from conditions related to use of the contest site by myself or others. In consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I, intending to be legally bound, hereby, hold harmless and release and forever discharge, the event sponsors, the event promoters, the administrators of the event, the STATE OF HAWAll, the County of Hawaii, and all officials connected with the event, from any and all liability for injuries, death, and/or damages whatsoever, arising from my presence or participation in the above described event. I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for this event and do hereby grant the sponsors and officials such release as described herein. I also assign to the promoters the exclusive, commercial use of all photographs and photographic reproductions, television and motion pictures taken of me during the surfing competition. I acknowledge that I have read and understood all of the aforementioned.
